Matt Damon

Matthew Paige [Matt] Damon (born October 8, 1970) is an American actor, screenwriter, & philanthropist whose career was launched following the success of the film Good Will Hunting (1997), from a screenplay he co-wrote with friend Ben Affleck. The pair won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay & the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay for their work & Damon garnered multiple Best Actor nominations, including the Academy Award, for his lead performance in the film.

Damon has since starred in commercially successful films such as Saving Private Ryan (1998), the Ocean's trilogy, & the Bourne series, while also gaining critical acclaim for his performances in dramas such as Syriana (2005), The Good Shepherd (2006), & The Departed (2006). He garnered a Golden Globe nomination for portraying the title character in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) & was nominated for an Academy Award as a supporting actor in Invictus (2009). He is one of the top forty highest grossing actors of all time. In 2007, Damon received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame & was named Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.

Damon has been actively involved in charitable work, including the ONE Campaign, H2O Africa Foundation, & Water.org.

Tobey Maguire

Tobias Vincent [Tobey] Maguire (born June 27, 1975) is an American actor. He began his career in the 1980s, & has since become best known for his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Spider-Man films.

Maguire was born in Santa Monica, California, the son of Wendy (née Brown), a secretary turned screenwriter & producer, & Vincent Maguire, a construction worker & cook. His parents were 18 & 20 years old (and unmarried) at the time of his birth; the two married & subsequently divorced when Maguire was two. Maguire spent much of his childhood moving from town to town, living with each parent & other family members. During his childhood, Maguire entertained the idea of becoming a chef & to that end wanted to enroll in a home economics class as a sixth grader. His mother offered him US$100 to take a drama class instead, & Tobey agreed.

The nomadic nature of his school-age years began to take a toll on Maguire emotionally, & finally, after yet another relocation to yet another school, Maguire dropped out of his freshman year of high school & never returned, deciding to focus himself on his blossoming acting career. By 2000, Maguire had taken the General Educational Development (GED) to officially graduate from high school, noting that during his high school days, he'd reached a point where "I wasn't doing school. I was showing up, but...not really giving myself.




Josh Hartnett

Joshua Daniel [Josh] Hartnett (born July 21, 1978) is an American actor & film producer. He came to fame after his first film role, in 1998's Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, & as Matt Eversmann in the 2001 film Black Hawk Down.

Josh Harnette was launched into the heart & minds of many as John Tate in Ha llooween H20 (1998). The Faculty (1998) as Zeke Tyler & The Virgin Suicides (1999) as Trip Fontaine shown the raw talent & potiental of Josh that was to come. It is his action packed performances in Pearl Habour (2001) as Capt. Danny Walker & Black Hawk Down that solidified him as a movie star. He provides adorable comedic timing as Matt Sullivan in 40 Days & 40 Nights (2002). With films roles like Sin City (2005) as The Man & The Black Dahlia l(2006) as Ofcr. Dwight 'Bucky' Bleichert to his filmography, the long-gevity ofthis actor is assured.



Tom Cruise

Thomas Cruise (Ma-pother IV; born July 3, 1962), better known by his screen name of Tom Cruise, is an American actor & film producer. Forbes magazine ranked him as the world's most powerful celebrity in 2006.He has been nominated for three Academy Awards & won three Golden Globe Awards. His first leading role was the 1983 film Risky Business which has been described as "A Generation X classic, & a career-maker" for the actor. After playing the role of a heroic naval pilot in the popular & financially successful 1986 film Top Gun, Cruise continued in this vein, playing a secret agent in a series of Mission: Impossible action films in the 1990s & 2000s. In addition to these heroic roles, he played other parts such as the misogynistic male guru in Magnolia (1999) & a cool & calculating sociopathic hitman in the Michael Mann crime-thriller film Collateral (2004).

In 2005, the Hollywood journalist, Edward Jay Epstein argued that Cruise is one of the few producers (the others being George Lucas, Steven Spielberg & Jerry Bruckheimer) who are able to guarantee the success of a billion-dollar movie franchise. Since 2005, Cruise & Paula Wagner have been in charge of the United Artists film studio, with Cruise as producer & star & Wagner as the chief executive. Cruise is also known for his controversial support of & adherence to the Church of Scientology.



Leonardo Dicaprio

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio (born November 11, 1974) is an American actor & film producer whose career rose with his role in the television sit-com Growing Pains. His critically acclaimed breakthrough film performance came in This Boy's Life, & was quickly followed by What's Eating Gilbert Grape. His performance as the mentally handicapped brother of Johnny Depp, in the title role, brought him nominations for the Golden Globe & Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He gained fame for his role as Jack Dawson in Titanic, & has starred in many other successful films including Romeo + Juliet, Catch Me If You Can, & Blood Diamond, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Another Academy Award nomination came for his role as Howard Hughes in The Aviator, directed by Martin Scorsese. He has also worked with Scorsese in films such as Gangs of New York & The Departed. This working partnership brought comparison to the earlier working relationship between Scorsese & actor Robert De Niro, who also benefited from roles in Scorsese films early in his career.

DiCaprio has also been nominated two times for BAFTA, three times for SAG, & seven Golden Globe Awards. He is a Golden Globe & a Silver Bear Award winner.











Orlando Bloom

Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom (born 13 January 1977) is a British actor. Classically trained, he had his break-through roles in 2001 as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings & starting in 2003 as blacksmith Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy of films, & subsequently established himself as a lead in Hollywood films, including Troy, Elizabethtown & Kingdom of Heaven. Bloom most recently appeared in the sequels Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest , Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End & Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He is starring in the upcoming ensemble film New York, I Love You, Sympathy for Delicious, & Main Street. Bloom made his professional stage debut in West End's In Celebration at the Duke of York's Theatre, St. Martin's Lane, which ended its run on 15 September 2007.
